Day - 01 -  Arrival at Guwahati - Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) and Transfer to Shillong - Guest will be received by our representative and assist in boarding the vehicle for forwarding journey to Shillong - It is a drive of nearly 3 ½ hours - 04 hours drive  ovber a distance of approximately 135 kilometres - On the way visit Umium Lake - Umiam Lake is a reservoir located in the hills 15 kilometres from Shillong in the state of Meghalaya, India - It is spread over 220 square kilometres - Next drive to Shillong -  The rolling hills around the town reminded the European settlers of Scotland - Hence known as the "Scotland of the East - Check in Hotel - Evening free to stroll around the area / Police Bazaar - Overnight in Shillong
 
Day - 02 - Excursion to Cherrapunjee - Early morning breakfast - Next one has to drive for slightly over two hours a distance of approximately 60 kilometres - Sohra, previously known as Cherrapunjee, a sub-division in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya is set upon a picturesque plateau on the southern slopes of the state - Sohra is dotted with waterfalls cascading over deep gorges. The swift flowing rivers and streams flow in a southernly direction to the plains - Other attractions are Caves & view of Bangladesh (Neighbouring country) - Visit Dwan Syiem view point, Noh kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco park etc - Later drive back to Shillong - On the way visit to Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls - In the evening, one can go for shopping at Police Bazar - Overnight in Shillong
 
Day - 03 - Excursion to Mwallynnong  – Early morning breakfast - Excursion to Mwallynnong - Next one has to drive for slightly over 2 ½ - 3 hours a distance of approximately 90 kilometres - Mawlynnong nestled in the pristine hill state of Meghalaya, is along the Indo-Bangla border - This nice and colourful little village is known for its cleanliness - The village offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock - Residential facilities are still scarce and are in the process of being developed, the existing one constructed from bamboo and thatch is quite hospitable - It is an artist's delight and  would titillate creative writers and poets - Drive back to Shillong - Evening visit Local markets - Over night in Shillong
 
Day - 04 -Shillong Local Sightseeing - Early morning breakfast - Next start the local sightseeing - The places of interest includes The city’s own Ward’s Lake is popular for short garden walks & boating - The Botanical Garden offers plethora of indigenous and exotic plants & rare collection of orchids - Lady Hydari Park is a Japanese style landscaped park endowed with streaches of roses & exquisite flowers - One of the largest Golf courses in Asia is an 18 hole Golf Course is charted amidst a surging valley full of thick pine groves & rhododendron trees - Spend the evening in the splendid arena -  The State Museum is a display of the lifestyle and heritage of the people of Meghalaya - Shillong and its surrounding is dotted with splendid waterfalls cascading down deep valleys forming misty sparks as they break the silence of the surroundings -  Elephant Falls is a mountain stream gorging down two successive falls set in dells of fern covered rocks - For the Bird’s eye view of Shillong, one can take a stand at Shillong Peak - Evening free to stroll around the local discotheque / Police Bazaar - Overnight in Shillong
 
Day - 05 - Transfer to Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary - Early morning breakfast - Next one has to drive nearly 7 - 7  ½ hour over approximately a distance of 330 kilometres - Along N H 40, S H 18, A H 1 / N H 37 - After breakfast drive to Kaziranga - Kaziranga National Park is a national park in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam, India - A World Heritage Site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world's great one-horned rhinoceroses - Four main types of vegetation exist in this park - These are alluvial inundated grasslands, alluvial savanna woodlands, tropical moist mixed deciduous forests, and tropical semi-evergreen forests - Kaziranga is recognized as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International for conservation of avifaunal species - Check in at hotel / resort - Evening free to stroll around the area - Overnight stay at Kaziranga
 
Day - 06 - Kaziranga National Park Activities -  Early morning one can enjoy Elephant ride in the park - Elephant riding time are: 1st Ride- 5.15-6.15 AM; 2nd ride: 6.30-7.30 am - Return to hotel / Resort for Breakfast -  The highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006 - The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer After lunch Jeep safari in the Central Range -  Visitors willing to view wild life by motorcars are guided through these roads by the staff of this department - The visitors are allowed to take in their own vehicles, however no visitor is allowed to enter the park without an accompanying representative of the forest department - Observation towers are situated at Sohola, Mihimukh, Kathpara, Foliamari and Harmoti for spotting wildlife - After breakfast free for leisure or you can visit tea  plantations  rubber plantations  - Evening free to stroll around the area - Overnight stay at Kaziranga
 
Day - 07 - Transfer from Kaziranga National Park to Guwahati - Early morning breakfast - Next start for Guwahati - Next one has to drive nearly 5 - 5  ½ hour over approximately a distance of 255 kilometres - Guwahati - Situated on the southern bank of the mighty Brahmaputra river in Kamrup district of Assam, Guwahati is a fast growing premier city - Guwahati is the largest city of Assam, a major riverine port city and one of the fastest growing cities in India - Guwahati is the second-largest metropolitan region in eastern India, after Kolkata - It is the gateway to the North eastern states of India and a principal centre of socio-cultural, political, industrial and trade and commerce of the entire region - After Breakfast drive to Guwahati - Check in at Hotel -  In the evening set out on a River cruise to watch the sun go down the Brahmaputra River and feel why the river is locally called ‘Luit’- color of blood (Optional) - Evening free to stroll around the area or visit local market -  Overnight stay at Guwahati
 
Day - 08 - Guwahati Sightseeing - Early morning breakfast - Start your sightseeing tour and visit Kamakhya temple - Situated atop the Nilachal Hills, the foremost shrine of Assam, Kamakhya is an ancient seat of Tantrik and Shakti cults of Hinduism - The temple offers grandstand views of the river Brahmaputra and its surroundings - The reigning deity here is Goddess Parvati (Sati) - Legend has it that the body of sati was dismembered and it is believed that of the pieces of her body which were scattered across the land and fell on the Nilachal hill - The temple here is called Yoni Pith - The shrine finds mention in the inscription of King Samudragupta’s pillar at Allahabad - A rush of devotees throngs the temple during the Ambubachi Puja - Close to Kamakhya temple is Bubhaneshwari temple from where one can have a panoramic view of the Brahmaputra River and the city - Visit Bashista Ashram - dating back to the time when great Saga Vashishta visited this spot on the confluence of the Sandhya,Lalita and Kanta streams and set up his ashram here - Visit Guwahati Museum- where one can see largest assamese ethnic & traditional, cultural collection -  Evening free to stroll around the area or visit local market - Overnight stay at Guwahati
 
Day - 09 -  Excursion to Saulkuchi - Early morning breakfast - After breakfast drive to Saulkuchi for sightseeing - Sualkuchi  is a census town in Kamrup district in the Indian state of Assam - It is situated on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra - Nearly 35 kilometres from Guwahati, Sualkuchi is a block of Kamrup District - It has large number of cottage industry engaged in handloom, for which it is also known as the "Manchester of Assam" -  This is the textile center of Assam - Muga silk and Pat silk along with Eri silk and Endi cloth from this region is famous for its quality - Mekhela chadors and Gamosas made from this indigenous materials is in demand throughout Assam and the rest of India -  Back to Guwahati  -  Evening free to stroll around the area or visit local market - Overnight stay at Guwahati
 
Day - 10 - Departure Transfer to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) - Early morning breakfast - Few fact about Assam worth mentioning is the  ancient cities of Pragjyotishpura and Durjaya (North Guwahati) were the capitals of the ancient state of Kamarupa under the Varman and Pala dynasties - Many ancient Hindu temples are in the city, giving it the name City Of Temples"- Dispur, the capital of Assam, is in the circuit city region located within Guwahati and is the seat of the Government of Assam - Four major trading center and places of interest fro tourist are  Pan Bazaar, Paltan Bazaar, Fancy Bazaar and Uzan Bazaar - After breakfast drive to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) - Forwarding Journey
