Reshi – Situated just by the West Bengal and Sikkim border is in the Kalimpong subdivision of Darjeeling district.Guest interested with offbeat destinations and routes are welcome to Reshi Khola. Reshi is situated by the side of the stream known as Khola, a love for flora, fauna and landscapes, the desire enjoy the local cultures and traditions and the will to soak in the pristine beauty of nature. Reshi is good for short trek, birding, angling or just for leisure where one can hang around for couple of days. Rongli – Rongli is a small town in East district of Sikkim. It is the second route perhaps the oldest route way to reach Kupup & Nathula in North Sikkim. Rongli & Rhenock (Another town on the way to Rongli) can be reached directly from Rongpo. Aritar is located jclose to the village of Chujachen. Rongli Town is the main hub of region with shops and establishment. Rongli to Gangtok via the silk route i.e. Lingtam, Zuluk or Reshi and through Phademchen view points, Dhupidara, Keukhola Water Falls, Ghambari Falls, Lungthung, Salamidara, Tukla Dara (Baba dham), Gnathung, Kupup, Sarathang and Nathula Pass, Changu Lake is quite fascinating. Lingtam - Lingtam is a small village and perhaps one of the most clean and peaceful one. It is rich in traditional culture and nature, on the other hand it is economically backward and the agricultural production is very low. Tourism sector is one of the ways which help the local people for development. Permission for Jelep La Pass is issued from here. Nathang Valley / Gnathang Valley – This is a valley on the route to Jelep La pass. This was a popular night stay for traders before crossing historical Jelep La – the old silk route to Lasha, Tibet. For last few years Zuluk situated at an altitude of over 10000 feet is once again getting popular as an offbeat tourist destination. Infrastructure is poor but that does not stop the enthusiasm of tourist heading in this direction. There are no hotels in Zuluk, but home stay cottages are available and it is worth staying very close to the simple and kind-hearted villagers. Places of interest in this historical Silk Route are many. Rongli to Gangtok via the silk route i.e. Lingtam, Zuluk or Reshi and through Phademchen view points, Dhupidara, Keukhola Water Falls, Ghambari Falls, Lungthung, Salamidara, Tukla Dara (Baba dham), Gnathung, Kupup, Sarathang and Nathula Pass, Changu Lake is quite fascinating.
