Airways – Nearest Airport is Tribhuwan International Airport at Kathmandu. It has flights from Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Kochi, Goa, Hyderabad and many more places. There are international flights also. Visit to Nepal from Siliguri is simple, cheap and fastest. From Siliguri drive 65 kilometres to Bhadrapur take a flight to Kathmandu and then drive to Bhaktapur in half hour. If you plan in advance say 30-45 days in advance you may end up getting Kathmandu air tickets at low cost.
Railways – There is no railway system in Nepal but one can reach any of the bordering town of Nepal by availing Indian Railways. Travelling in Nepal is solely dependent on either road or by air. Bhaktapur is half an hour drive from Kathmandu
Roadways – Bhaktapur is nearly 20 kilometres east of Kathmandu. From Kathmandu one can drive 35 kilometres to Bhadrapur for availing flight.
