Gangtey Gompa / Phobjikha is the beautiful Phobjikha Valley and on its slopes is situated the great monastery of Gangtey, the valley / village of Phobjikha lies a few kilometres down from the monastery, on the valley floor. Mongar is situated on a gentle slope of a hill and marks the beginning of eastern Bhutan. It is the second largest town in the subtropical east. Lhuentse, 3 hour drive from Mongar and is famous for its weavers, and their distinctive textiles considered to be the best in the country. Kurtoe region of Lhuentse is the ancestral home of the monarchy. Samdrup Jongkhar is a convenient exit town for tourists to visit the neighboring Indian state of Assam. Phuentsholing to Paro / Thimpu Tour begins from this commercial hub in south-west Bhutan - Phuentsholing is a border town of Bhutan and Jaigaon is the Indian counterpart – One can enjoy long exhilarating journey to Thimphu or Paro. The road is uphill and one can come across tiny villages, waterfalls and animals. Enjoy the natural beauty. It doesn't matter if you are an experienced mountain climber, a white water thrill-seeker, or just want to relax, we give each and every visitor our personal attention, and have itineraries and program tailor made for each individual. Last day travel can be reduced by staying at Phuentsholling / Jaigaon / Lataguri or Jaldapara
