Day - 01 – Arrival New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) / Siliguri and Transfer to Phuentsholling - On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) / Siliguri – Guest will be received by our executive who will be waiting just outside of the airport or railway station – He will assist guest to board the vehicle to proceed for Phuentsholing – The drive is of 165 kilometres i.e.  4 to 4 ½ hour’s drive through the lush green Tea Estate of Dooars - On arrival at Phuentsholing – Check into hotel - The border of India & Bhutan, the Indian side is known as Jaigaon and the Bhutan part is called Phuentsholling - Situated at an altitude of nearly 980 feet is a small settlement – Night stay at Hotel at either Phuentsholing or Jaigaon

Day – 02 - Permit to be obtained and Transfer to Paro – Drive 175 kilometres in 6 ½  – 7 hours -   This beautiful city of Bhutan is situated at an altitude of  nearly 2250 meters  / 7382 feet - Paro is a beautiful valley encapsulates the rich culture, scenic beauty with hundreds of myths and legends - Home to many of Bhutan’s oldest temples and monasteries and the National Museum -  Places you must see when you are Drukgyel Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, Ta Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang, Kila Gompa, Druk Choeding - Taktsang Monastery or Tiger's Nest is a good 3 hour climb uphill and is one day program -  On arrival at Paro and transfer to the hotel - Evening take a stroll around town & main street - Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

Day -  03 - Paro Sightseeing  - Morning take an excursion to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger Nest - It is believed that Guru Rinpoche, the father of the Bhutanese strain of Mahayana Buddhism, arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery - Taktsang was severely damaged by fire in year 1998 and now has been restored in its original grandeur - After lunch, visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum - The museum collection includes ancient Bhutanese art and artifacts, weapons and country’s exquisite postage stamps - Then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong situated at commanding height, overlooking Paro valley - This Dzong is symbolic as the religious and secular centre of all affairs of the valley - Evening visit a traditional farm house to get an idea on lifestyle of local people - Overnight at the hotel in Paro

Day – 04 - Excursion to Chele La pass (3988 meters / 13084 feet) - Chele la (Pass) is situated at an elevation 3988 meters is considered to be one of the highest motor able passes in Bhutan – It is nearly 35 kilometres and about an hour later from Paro - About an hour's drive along a thickly - forested road is a botanical paradise - The pass provides stunning views of the sacred mountain Jomolhari and Jichu Drake - Made all the more mysterious and beautiful with its abundance of prayer flags - Guest can witness the  cascades of wild roses; purple and yellow primulas; and swathes of deep blue iris covering the forest floor – Back to resort - Guest may spend the day by shopping or simply walking through the town or relax  – Overnight stay in hotel / resort in Paro

Optional - Drive on to Haa (2700 meters / 8900 feet) - descending all the way for another 22 kilometres nearly an hours drive to Haa - The Haa Dzong view from outside is stunning – One can also visit to the famous Monastery of Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) followed by visit to Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple) – Three hours drive back to Paro

Day – 05 – Transfer from  Paro - Punakha - (125 kilometres, 4 hours) - After breakfast drive to ruins of Drukgyel Dzong - From this fortress, Bhutanese repelled several invading Tibetan armies during the 17th century. Then visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples of the Kingdom, reflecting the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan - Next drive to Punakha across Dochu La pass (3080 meters) which heralds the most enchanting views of Bhutan - Until 1955, Punakha served as the capital of Bhutan and still it is the winter seat of Je Khenpo - Visit Punakha Dzong built in 17th century at the junction of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers - It has been destroyed by four fires and an earthquake in 1897 and has frequently been devastated by flood water coming from the great northern glaciers - The Dzong has now been fully restored to its original splendor - Evening visit local market - Overnight at the hotel in Punakha

Day – 06 – Transfer from Punakha to Wangdue Phodrang  next  Thimpu (90 kilometres, 3 hours) - After breakfast, drive to Wangduephodrang - The last town in the  young lama Bhutan west before arriving at the central region of Bhutan, Wangdue is typical small Bhutanese town - The town's formidable Dzong is its most visible feature - In the 17th century Wangdue played a critical role in unifying the western, central and southern Bhutanese districts - After lunch, drive to Thimphu, small charming city sandwiched in the heart of Himalayas. Thimphu's charm is not only embedded in its wealth of museums or places of historic interest but visitors must wander along the main street and into shops, all of which are decorated in traditional style - Evening at leisure -Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu

Day – 07 – Thimphu Sightseeing - Morning visit, Trashichhoedzong, situated on the banks of Wang Chhu - It is home of the National Assembly and the summer residence of capital's venerated monastic community - The Dzong is the impressive result of a redesign of the original medieval structure sanctioned by the Third King, HM Jigme Dorji Wangchuck - Bhutan's National Library - The Textile and Folk Heritage Museum opened in year 2001 is fascinating testimony of the Bhutanese material culture and living traditions - The Memorial Chhorten, a pious landmark for Thimphu's residents - Visit Handicrafts Emporium which displays wide assortment of beautifully hand-woven and crafted products - Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu

Day – 08 – Transfer from Thimphu to Phuentsholing (179 kilometres, 6 - 7 hours) - After breakfast, drive to Phuentsholing en route visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom built in 1627, which now houses the School for Buddhist studies. Thimphu / Phuentsholing road was built in 1962 by Dantak, the Indian Border road organization - The drive on this route is very pleasant with numerous scenic spots en route - Just before, arriving Phuentsholing, visit Kharbandi Goemba, the monastery built in 1967 - It houses the large and attractive statues of Sakyamuni, Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and Guru Rinpoche - Overnight at the hotel in Phuentsholing –

Day - 09 – Transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) / Siliguri from Paro – Early morning breakfast or breakfast on the route – Check out of the hotel and start for Phuntsho Chholing (Phuntsholing) / Dooars / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) / Siliguri – One can stay in Dooars or drive directly to Airport or station - Siliguri is roughly 170 kilometres and is 4 – 5 hours drive – Forwarding journey

In case of not holding the above document, guest need to approach to the office of Consulate General of India, India Embassy for getting permission for entry into Bhutan. The following documents are required at the office of Consulate General of India, India Embassy for identification of Indian Citizenship

Note: Indian Embassy is closed on Saturday & Sunday. Permit on Saturday & Sunday is issued by Main Gate office, Department of immigration, Phuentsholling, Bhutan

Don’ts

• Do not carry Indian INR 500/- or INR 1000/- Currency Notes. It is Illegal.
• Tobacco & Tobacco products are banned in Bhutan.
• Do not bring any plant or agricultural product out of Bhutan. It is Illegal.
• Credit cards are accepted in selected establishments in Bhutan.

Tips for Traveler:

• Request permission before taking photographs of people, events or objects
• Inside the premises of Temples, Dzongs or Monastery, photographs are not permitted.
• Photographs is only permitted in the court yard area
• Artifacts or Antiques, large or small, ruined or not, they are regarded as sacred.
• Please take of hats while entering Dzongs, Temples or Monastery.
• Shorts / Half Pants are not permitted while entering a Dzong, Temple or Monastery
• While in a Dzong, Temple, Monastery, please switch off cell phones or in the Silent / Vibrating Mode
• Please speak softly within the religious premises
• Check-in 12:00 hours / Check-out time is 11:00 hours in hotel
• Please keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages
• On arrival of guests we will provide local contact numbers of our executive, who will handle the entire operation
• If any tourist spot do not complete for closing day & if they want to do the same on next day then they have to pay the extra cost for the vehicle

• For Extra Adult in the room we will provide an Extra Bed (wherever quoted), but some hotels only provide a roll out bed / Mattress and have no provision of an Extra Bed
• In unavoidable circumstances operators have the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability / road conditions  without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services
• Child sharing parent's room will not be provided an Extra Bed
