Gorumara (Lataguri Or Murti) (02), Kalimpong 05 Nights & 06 Days

Day- 01

On arrival transfer to Gorumara National Park, Lataguri or Murty - On arrival our representative will receive guests and assist them to get transferred to   Gorumara National Park or Murty Or Lataguri - It is approximately 90 kilometres and nearly 02½ - 03 hours first along the River Teesta  and there are two options/road - One is via Siliguri - Sevoke Road - Odlabari - Mal Bazar & Lataguri which is part of National Highway 31 and partly along River Teesta  - The other route is  Siliguri - Fulbari - Gajoldoba - Kranti & Maynaguri - Lunch on the way or one can have lunch after reaching the resort / Hotel - Dooars - It is rich tropical forests, innumerable hill streams cutting across the green carpet, undulating plains makes this a tourist hotspot - It ensures a pleasant climate round the year - Gorumara National Park, Chapramari Wild Life Sanctuary, Jhalong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola are tourist spots nearby - Evening free - Guest are advised not to stroll away from the crowd towards the forest - Back to resort - (Cultural Show can be arranged at a Supplement cost) - Overnight Stay at Lataguri / Gorumara National Park Evening free - Night halt at Resort / Hotel in Gorumara National Park, Lataguri or Murty

Day- 02

Gorumara Forest Activities & Excursion to Bindu & Jhalong - At around 05 AM one can start for Forest Safari after booking the ticket from forest office with proper ID card - After the safari one has to come back to Hotel, Resort or homestay for Breakfast - Early morning Breakfast - Post breakfast its visit to Jhalong, Bindu in the lap of Himalaya - The area is known for its diversified flora and fauna - Jhalong is on the bank of the river Jaldhaka on the Indo-Bhutan border in the foothills of the Himalayas, on the way to Bindu - Major attraction are scenic beauty, birds and the Water body - Bindu is the last village of West Bengal before one enters Bhutan on the bank of  river Jaladhaka a natural physical boundary separating West Bengal and Bhutan - Thew place is also known for Ginger & cardamom plantations - Back to resort by 02 PM and have Lunch - Next to prepare for booking of Safari Tickets - Early evening (04 PM to 06 PM) Jungle safari subjected to availability of tickets – In the late evening one can stroll around the market area - Guest are advised not to stroll away from the crowd towards the forest - Back to resort - In the late evening campfire & tribal dance at the resort can be arranged (Optional) - Night Stay at Resort in Lataguri / Gorumara National Park / Murti i.e.Duars / Dooars

Day- 03

Gorumara Forest Activities & Excursion to Samsing & Suntaleykhola - Morning around 05 AM one can enjoy the Jeep Safari which is held for Gorumara National Park [ID card is required for guests while tickets are being issued] - After Safari back to Hotel / resort or Homestay - Complete morning breakfast - Next one has to leave for Excursion to visit Samsing & Suntaleykhola in the lap of Himalaya - The area is known for its diversified flora and fauna - Samsing is a village at around 3000 feet known for its landscape, tea gardens and the forest. It is also a gateway to Neora Valley National Park - Aivel estate is a treat to watch & Suntaley Khola is named from a stream named Suntaley - One can spot exotic species of birds and butterflies - Visitors can cherish the natural natures beauty of this hamlet - Back to resort by 2 PM and have Lunch - Next to prepare for booking of Safari Tickets - Early evening (4 PM to 6 PM) Jungle safari subjected to availability of tickets - In the late evening one can stroll around the market area - Guest are advised not to stroll away from the crowd towards the forest - Back to resort  - Night Stay at Resort in Gorumara National Park, Lataguri or Murty

Day- 04

Forest Activities (Optional) & transfer to Kalimpong- Optional is Jeep Safari - Around 05 AM one can enjoy the Jeep Safari which is held for Gorumara National Park [ID card is required for guests while tickets are being issued] - After Safari back to Hotel / resort or Homestay - Early morning breakfast - Check-Out Time 10:00 AM - Next one has to drive Kalimpong Via Malbazar, Gorubathan, Lava, to Kalimpong - It is approximately 102 kilometers and is nearly 03 - 03½ hours drive via Lava -One stop at Kagyu Thekchen Ling Monastery or Lava Monastery - The drive is uphill with Tea Estate, Forest & stream - Kalimpong boasts Himalayan views, Buddhist monasteries & colonial-era architecture - Kalimpong bazaar town sprawls along a saddle-shaped mountain ridge overlooking the roaring Teesta River - Lolaygaon, Pedong, Sillery Gaon, Ramdhura, Rikissum, Charkole, Kagey, etc are nearby places of interest - It is a quieter destination - Situated on the foothills of the Himalayas at an elevation of 1243 meters / 4078 feet - Check in Hotel at Kalimpong - Evening free to stroll around Kalimpong bazaar for shopping of handicrafts and relics - Overnight stay at Hotel in Kalimpong

Day- 05

Kalimpong Local Sightseeing - Early morning breakfast and start the day for sightseeing - Kalimpong weather is milder and pleasant for the most part of the year - Kalimpong boasts Himalayan views, Buddhist monasteries, colonial-era architecture, and fascinating nursery industry, all linked by some fine hikes - Kalimpong is known for  nurseries, heritage schools & charitable institutes - Start with Zang Dhok Palri or Durpin Monastery - Army Golf Course - Nursery - Deollo - Hanuman Tok - Dr. Grahams Home (school with a high standard of education), etc - One can spend 02 - 03 hours in Kalimpong and enjoy the lunch at any of the restaurants like Orchid, etc and back to the hotel - Heritage buildings are Gouripur House and Morgan House, etc are worth visiting - Evening free to stroll around Kalimpong bazaar for shopping of handicrafts and relics - Overnight stay at  Kalimpong

Day- 06

Departure transfer to Siliguri Or Gangtok -  Early morning breakfast & hotel check out by 09 AM - 10 AM - It is approximately 90 kilometers and is nearly 02½ - 03 hours drive - Pakyong Airport is Nearly 70 Kilometers and is nearly 03 hours drive via Rangpo - The drive is through National Highway 10 and along the River Teesta - Its a scenic road - After breakfast departure transfer - The option of Boating  [Earlier White Water Rafting in River Teesta] at Chitrey - One will travel via Sevoke Coronation bridge & Sevoke Kalimandir - One stop at Coronation Bridge or at Salugara recommended to guests for refreshment along with some Tea or one can enjoy the tea in the outskirt of Siliguri - Drop at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Siliguri / Pakyong Airport (PYG) - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey
