Day- 01
On arrival transfer to Gangtok - On arrival, guests will be representative will receive guests and assist them to forward journey to Gangtok - The drive is approximately 120 Kilometres and is nearly 04½ - 05 hours drive along the River Teesta and National Highway 10 - Gangtok is a clean bustling, friendly hill station, and the capital of the Indian state of Sikkim - It is a perfect destination for tourist in search of enchantment, tranquility, trekking or any other adventure - It is a land of monastery, mystic rituals, and colourful festivals - It is popular Buddhist pilgrimage site after the construction of the Enchey Monastery in 1840 - Situated at an elevation of 1,437 meters i.e. 4,715 feet is the most often visited spot of India for its rare Orchids and Butterflies - In the evening one is free to stroll around M.G.Marg or the local Market - One can also visit the local pub or Casinos - Overnight stay at Gangtok
Day- 02
Transfer to Lachung - Early morning breakfast - After the permit is issued for guests and vehicle - The vehicle will report at North Sikkim Stand [Hotel to Stand is Maruti Van] - Drive approximately 123 kilometres and is 05½ - 06 hours drive - Chungthang is 96 kilometres from Gangtok and stop for Lunch - Next drive 34 kilometres to Lachung Valley's through Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary and is known as Valley of Flowers - Reach late afternoon / early evening - This village is home to the 19th-century Buddhist Lachung Monastery, surrounded by apple orchards - It’s a valley surrounded by gigantic and humbling snow peak mountains - In fact, the village cradled between stern, tall rock faces standing like guards - Like a Shangri - La - Check into a hotel - Welcome Tea - Evening free to stroll and visit the Lepcha Village & Monastery - Overnight stay at Hotel in Lachung
Day- 03
Excursion to Yumthang and Transfer to Gangtok - Early morning breakfast - Visit Yumthang i.e. 25 kilometers and is nearly 01½ - 02 hours drive [One Way] - A valley at an altitude of 11800 feet through which Lachung Chu flows, generally covered with snow from November to April - It is known as the valley of flowers - Guest can spend an hour at Yumthang along with the hot water spring - The vast Valley stretches and is a cold desert till Tibet Autonomous Region / China border - While returning visit to hot water spring if time permits - The region is fully covered with snow from November to April & Rhododendron during Spring - [Yumesandong or Zero Point & Katao are optional sightseeing] - Back to hotel for lunch / Packed Lunch - Proceed to Gangtok - It is approximately 123 Kilometres & 05 hours drive & reach late evening - Evening one can spend time in M G Road or vicinity - Overnight stay at Hotel in Gangtok.
Day- 04
Departure transfer to Siliguri - Guests can walk in M G Road during early morning and return to the hotel for breakfast - After breakfast get ready for the transfer - Siliguri is at a distance of approximately 125 kilometers and is nearly 03½ - 04 hours drive along the scenic road via Rangpo & Sevoke - The drive is through hills and with scenic beauty - Stoppage at Rangpo / Chitrey or Melli for a cup of Tea is advisable if time permits - One stop at Coronation bridge for photography and Sevoke Kalimandir if time permits - The drive will be along National Highway 10 and River Teesta - Drop at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) / Siliguri / Pakyong Airport (PYG) - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey
