Day - 01 - Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / North Bengal Bus Terminus (Junction) / Siliguri Town and Transfer to Makaibari (Kurseong) - Our representative will assist you to reach Makaibari Tea Estate Home Stay - Distance of 50 kilometres i.e. 2 hours – Kurseong / Kharsang means the ‘Land of the white Orchids’ in Lepcha and is situated at an elevation of nearly 5000 feet (1524 meters) below - Makaibari is an Organic farm with lovely people .. Day - 02 - Tea Factory and Tea Garden visit - Early morning breakfast - Visit Factory to have an idea of Tea production – Darjeeling Tea can be enjoyed not just for its taste but because it is truly good - Rich in anti-oxidants, this amazing tea strengthens immune system - It courses through your veins and helps you unwind …. Relax with a feeling of being, mystical, magical …. Visit to the any two of the four main section of Production unit i.e. Withering – Fermentation – Drying – Sorting will be done - If possible one can participate in Tea Tasting in the same day - Back to room for lunch - Afternoon stroll around the area or Tea plantation – Evening free – One can visit the local staff or resident of the area or have some book from library and go through It – Night stay in the Home stay
Day - 03 - Local Sightseeing at Kurseong - Early morning breakfast - Visit for Local sightseeing – The Deer Park on Dow Hill, 4 kilometres from town, houses an amusement park, a forest museum – The Buddhist Gompas at Downhill Road - The St Paul’s Church - Next is Giddhapahar Mandir and the museum dedicated to freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandra Bose contains some old memorabilia such as photographs and letters and this place is also worth the visit– Eagle’s Craig is ideal spot for view of the surrounding hills and plains known for the Sunset - Back to room for lunch - Afternoon stroll around the area or Tea plantation – Evening free – One can visit the local staff or resident of the area or have some book from library and go through It – Night stay in the Home stay
Day - 04 - Departure to and from Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / North Bengal Bus Terminus (Junction) / Siliguri Town - Early Morning breakfast - Visit around the garden meeting the officials and residents of the garden - The Toy Train takes a little over 5 hours from New Jalpaiguri to reach Kurseong. Kurseong is also well connected by roads - There are three roads from Siliguri to Kurseong - The shortest one is called Pankabari Road - Next one has to drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / North Bengal Bus Terminus (Junction) / North Bengal Bus Terminus (Junction) / Siliguri Town i.e. approximately 50 kilometres i.e. maximum of 2 hours drive – Forwarding Journey
