Communication

Flights from Bagdogra Airport (IXB) in Siliguri is available thrice weekly. There is also flights on daily basis from Bhadrapur Airport  with regular Yeti Airline & Budhha Airline flights. The flight time is 50 minutes to 45 minutes to Kathmandu. There are options for Bus Transfer also from Kakarvitta which is nearly 14 - 15 hours drive and the price generally ranges from 1200 - 1500 per person. Kakarvitta is roughly 35 kilometres from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and it is 30 kilometres from Bagdogra Airport (IXB) . Vehicle charges are bit high as there are some amount of fees has to be paid at each checkpost inside the Nepal territory. The cost will be roughly 4500 per day with maximum of 7 hours drive per day. Guest has to pay the Checkpost charges and taxes on the way only. Air Transfer is best as the other ways is not cost and time effective.

International Flights – Nepal is well connected with the rest of the country. There are flights by Royal Nepal Airlines / Biman Bangladesh Airlines / Indian Airlines / Singapore Airlines / Thai Airways International / Pakistan International Airlines / Aeroflot Russian Airlines / China Southwest Airlines / Bhutan Druk Air / Qatar Airways / Oman Air / Jordan Airways / / Dragon Airways /  Jet Airways / Air Asia / Air China / Silk Air / United Airways and many more. Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation, RNAC, has flights to eight international cities in seven different countries. The major airport is Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM / VNKT). This airport has international and domestic flights and is nearly 6 kilometres from the center of Kathmandu city. Another major airport is Simara Airport (SIF / VNSI) is nearly 70 kilometres from Kathmandu.

Domestic Flights - Nepal has frequent and well developed airways among its town - Royal Nepal Airlines / Necon Air / Lumbini Airways / Buddha Air / Yeti Airline / Agni Airways / Tara Airways / Guni Airways / Sita Airways, etc. Guest can fly to any of the following town in Lukla, Phaplu, Jomsom, Manag, Hungde, Taplejung, Pokhara, Chitwan, Biratnagar, Bhadrapur, Bhairahawa, Tumlingtar, Bajura, Bharatpur, Dolpa, Jomsom, Jumla, Lamidanda, Lukla, Meghauli, Nepalgunj, Ramechhap, Rara, Rumjatar, Simikot, Surkhet, Dang, Dhangadhi, Janakpur, Rajbiraj, Bhojpur, etc. Flights from India – One can take flights from any of the major cities of India like Delhi / Mumbai (Bombay) / Patna / Gaya / Kolkata, etc. They have regular flights to Kathmandu

Roadways - One can enter Nepal by land from India. The most common entry points are Kakarbhitta (eastern Nepal), Birgunj and Bhairahawa (South Central Nepal). The packages given are all from Kathmandu i.e. Ex Kathmandu packages (Arrival and departure from Kathmandu) – We arrange for transfer to border Town also.
