Day- 01
On arrival Transfer to Reshi Khola - On arrival Guest will be received by our representative and he will assist to get transfer to Aritar / Arhitar - It is approximately 116 Kilometres i.e. nearly 03½ - 04 hours drive - The drive will be along the River Teesta and National Highway 10 - The Diversion is via Rangpo and through Rorathang to Aritar / Arhitar - Arrival is at Reshi or Rishi or Rishi Khola located in the Kalimpong subdivision on the West Bengal - Sikkim Border - Topographically, Reshi Khola divides the states of West Bengal and Sikkim - It’s a perfect stopover for tourists intending to visit the offshoot of 'The Silk Route' as it is a tourist hotspot and camping ground for tourists to have fun and chill out on the banks of the river Rishi - It is also an idyllic spot for romancing the moonlight with a light barbecue and bonfire - Evening one can spend on the river bed or around the area - Overnight stay at Reshikhola
Day- 02
Excursion to Aritar Lake - Early morning breakfast - Aritar lake is located on the edge of the Himalayas, and can be reached in about 0½ hours' drive from Reshikhola and is 06 kilometers by road - The Aritar Lake (Ghati-Tso) is a nearby attraction, as are traditional villages and monasteries such as Lingsay - Visitors may also stay in a British-built bungalow of 1895 located 0½ kilometers / 0.31 miles below the lake - Reshikhola or Rishi Khola is a wonderful small valley situated on the bank of the river Reshi in the lap of eastern Himalaya - Excursion to Aritar lake (Lampokhri) - Enjoy paddle boating in the placid waters of the lake and fo round the Holy lake - Alternately, you can walk down to the Chandaney Falls and enjoy the beauty of the falls - There is a small monastery near the lake and a viewpoint which is nearly 1500 feet high - Back to Resort at Reshi - Evening is at leisure or one can spend fishing - Evening one is free to stroll around the homestay - Overnight stay at Reshikhola
Day- 03
Excursion along Silk Route - Early morning breakfast - Nature has blessed the place with utmost hospitality and simplicity - People here are honest, simple and hardworking by nature - The entire route os viewpoint - The best time to travel is Mid November to Mid April - One has to get the permit done in the first hour and start the tour - Start with Thambi View Point / Lungthung Sun Rise Point or one can visit it while returning - Places of interest are many like Adi Baba Mandir, Eagle’s Nest Bunker, Jelepla Pass, Kupup Lake, Lingtam, Menmecho Lake, Nathula Pass, Thambi View Point, Tukla & Nathang Valley, Yak Golf Course, Younghusband’s Track all depend on the road conditions - If its snowing one has to return from Zuluk or similar place - Back to Homestay - Night stay at Aritar
Day- 04
Departure transfer to Siliguri - Early morning visit Lampokhari the oldest natural lake at an altitude of 4600 feet i.e. 1400 meters [If missed on the first day] - Early Morning breakfast - After breakfast transfer to Siliguri via Sevoke - The travel will be via Rorarthang - Rangpo - Chitrey - Teesta Bazar - Kalijhora - The drive is approximately 110 Kilometres and nearly 03½ - 04 hours drive - One can stop at Sevoke Coronation bridge for some refreshment if time permits or else at Sevoke Railway Bridge crossing subjected to time - Drop at Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) / Siliguri Or Pakyong Airport (PYG) - Forwarding Journey
