Day - 02 - Excursion to Cherrapunjee - Early Morning breakfast - Next drive to Cherrapunjee - It is approximately 60 Kilometres i.e. 02 - 2½ hours drive by car - Currently the historical name Sohra is more commonly used is a subdivisional town in the East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya - It is credited as being the wettest place on Earth, although nearby Mawsynram currently holds that record - Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves - Visit Visit Dwan Syiem view point, Noh kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco park etc - Later after lunch back to Shillong drive back to Shillong - On the way visit to Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls - Return to The Hotel / Resort - Evening if time permits visit local market (Police Bazar) - Night stay at Shillong
Day - 03 - Excursion to Dawki & Mawlynnong - Early Morning breakfast - Next drive to Dawki - It is approximately 85 Kilometres & is nearly 02 ½ hours one way journey - Attraction is the Umngot River that marks the natural separation between the Khasi and the Jaintia Hills - The river can be forded by a suspension bridge that connects India to Bangladesh - Dawki-Tamabil is one of the few road border crossings between India and Bangladesh - After breakfast excursion to Dawki (Bangladesh border) and then to Mawlynnong the cleanest village in Asia - It is a village in the East Khasi Hills district of the Meghalaya state, India - It is famous for its cleanliness and natural attraction - Later return back to Shillong - Return to The Hotel / Resort - Evening if time permits visit local market (Police Bazar) - Night stay at Shillong
Day - 04 – Shillong via Pobitara Wildlife Excursion & transfer to Guwahati - After breakfast drive to Pobitara - It is approximately 120 Kilometres and is 4 hours drive by car - Jeep safari at Pobitara - Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is known for great Indian One-horned rhinoceros in the Morigaon district of the state of Assam nearly 450 kilometres from Guwahati - Besides rhinoceros, the other animals are leopard, wild boar, Barking deer, wild buffalo etc - Assam’s Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is also home to more than 2000 migratory birds and various reptiles - Four major shopping center of Guwahati are Pan Bazaar, Paltan Bazaar, Fancy Bazaar and Uzan Bazaar - Overnight stay in Guwahati
