Sundarban - This tiger reserve is spread over two countries India and Bangladesh. It covers nearly 4262 square kilometres in India with 54 islands. It is also the largest delta where the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna River meet the Ocean called Bay of Bengal.The Sundarban forest has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1999. We have one night, two night packages in launch, 3 nights stay are advisable to our guest.tour Sundarban and enjoy the stay with food. Some of the sundarban packages are given in the site.  The name has been derived from two schools of thought.  Sundari - a plant found in the local mangroves and Ban - meaning forest yet some believe it simply means Beautiful Forest - Sunder meaning beautiful and Ban meaning forest. This grove is definitely beautiful, matching up to its name. The world’s most extensive mangrove forests with pristine sea beach and the innumerable islands are something to observe. The dense expanse with chirping birds, deer, monkeys and Royal Bengal Tigers will irresistibly attract visitors. The attractions are manifold but the ambience created by the green dense growth, blue overhead, the vast stretches of sea with tide and the ebb and the splendor of the Sundarbans are mesmerizing. It has always been mysterious to the nature lover, scientists, researchers and tourists. Sundarban Package for weekend is available with us.
 
Sundarban reserved forest is spread over an area of nearly 10000 square kilometres including the area of West Bengal and Bangladesh. Bangladesh is approximately 6000 square kilometres inclusive of recent emerging islands. The area is divided into various compartments each with an area of few square kilometres. The journey is made possible by the large and small tidal waterways providing opportunities for cruising and boating.  Kotka - Kachikhali Tiger point, Hironpoint and Manderbaria are three Wildlife sanctuaries. In Sundarban there are number of unexplored natural beaches, innumerable rivers, canals and creeks making waterways as the only means to enter the forest.
 
Exotic wildlife is the hallmark of the region it is home to some of the most exotic and rare creatures and the visual treat is to spot the Royal Bengal Tigers. The Sundarban forest is home to 330 plant species, nearly 35 species of reptiles, 400 types of fishes, 270 species of birds and approximately 42 species of mammals. One can spot the spotted deer, wild boar, rhesus monkey, crocodile, Gangetic dolphin water monitor lizard, pythons, King cobra, Royal Bengal Tiger. The Royal Bengal tiger one of the biggest of the cat is worshipped here in various form. There are many a mythological story and legend involving the Royal Bengal Tiger. Places of Interest
 
The excursion of Sundarban is arranged for group heads of 20 to 40 and the package starts fro either Kolkata to Kolkata or Canning to Canning. Food accommodation, sight seeing, Movie show, filtered, Hygienic drinking water & Guide are included in the package. Towel, Blanket, Mosquito Coils, Newspaper are  complementary service. There is group concession in off season. We have our own liner with 30 and 40 head capacity. 3 Nights 4 Days trip for group size of 20 to 40 cost nearly 4500 per head all inclusive. Air Conditioned Liner are also available from October, 2010. We promise good service, nice food and comfortable stay. 
 
Communication
 
Airways – The nearest airport is in Kolkata, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. Kolkata International Airport is nearly linked with all the major cities of India with regular flights. From the airport one can hire a vehicle to Canning its nearly 3 hours drive.  
 
Railways – The nearest Railway Station is Canning. The major railway Station is Sealdah, Kolkata and Howrah. One can avail local train from Sealdah to Canning which takes nearly 2 ½ - 3 Hours.  Other alternative is to book car from Sealdah / Kolkata. Nearest metro railway station is Kaji Najrul Islam i.e. Garia
 
Roadways – Canning is well connected with roadways with Kolkata and to all its surrounding places. There are road from Canning to Kolkata with plenty of options of hiring private vehicles, buses, etc. There are regular bus services available from any part of Kolkata to Canning.
